Since joining Randstad in 2019 as CEO, North America, Karen Fichuk has worked to deepen the organization’s commitment to skilling programs by joining the OneTen initiative, a coalition of companies that works to improve hiring, retention, upskilling and advancement of Black and African American talent without four-year degrees in the US. Her team also launched a new program called Transcend, which prepares diverse talent for in-demand jobs. Fichuk notes future plans for the company include expansion of Randstad’s presence in North America and an increased focus on the massive and steadily growing global professionals market.
