Marc-Étienne Julien

Randstad Canada CEO Marc-Étienne Julien started in the staffing industry when he joined the company 20 years ago. He helped Randstad Canada navigate through the impact of Covid-19, finding innovative ways to serve clients and candidates — without layoffs. Julien also appointed a chief diversity officer at Randstad Canada in 2020. This is the first time the company has had one. Randstad Canada was named one of the best workplaces in Canada by the Great Place to Work Institute Canada as well as one of the Best Workplaces for Inclusion, for Women and for Today’s Youth. He founded the Ride for Myriam, a charitable bicycle ride, in 2014; the event went virtual in 2020 with 565 participants.
