Already president of TrueBlue Inc.’s industrial staffing provider PeopleReady, the fifth-largest industrial staffing firm in the US, Taryn Owen in 2021 added COO to her title, as well as president and COO of PeopleScout, TrueBlue’s RPO brand. Owen spearheaded a digital transformation in on-demand staffing, most notably with JobStack, which has helped fill more than 10 million shifts since its inception. Also in 2021, she launched pilot service centers in select markets, connecting job seekers to work through a seamless, virtual process, and she championed a branding refresh, website redesign and enhancements to PeopleReady’s staffing tools, putting “Work Within Reach” for more than 90,000 job seekers each month.
