President and CEO Toshio Oka joined Advantage Resourcing January 2014. He is responsible for the policies and overall direction of the firm in connection with business strategy, financial accounting, organizational structure, human resources, operations and investments. In 2015, Advantage Resourcing America acquired Minneapolis-based provider Atterro Inc., which operates several staffing brands and projects more than $250 million in annual revenue. Advantage is part of Recruit Co. Ltd., one of the world’s largest staffing firms. Oka formerly served as CEO, global staffing business, for Recruit and as CEO of Staff Services, which is Recruit’s largest staffing company, based in Tokyo. Recruit acquired US-based Advantage Resourcing America and Advantage Resourcing Europe in December 2011.
