Robert Funk, founder, president and vice chairman of Express Employment Professionals, is a staffing icon and was named 2015 Man of the Year by IMPACT OKC magazine. Express was named a world-class franchise by the Franchise Research Institute and on the Entrepreneur’s Franchise 500 List. The Oklahoma City-based company ranks as the seventh-largest staffing firm in the US and 13th-largest in the world. Funk owns 37 Express offices, and stays active with affiliated companies Express Ranches and Express Travel. Funk is an ASA board member and has served as chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and chairman of the Conference of Chairmen of the Federal Reserve.
In June 2018, Funk was named president and vice chairman of the board for Express.
