Edward A. Lenz, Esq., is senior counsel of the American Staffing Association and an authority on the legal and public policy aspects of third-party employment outsourcing. Lenz joined ASA in 1989 as its first general counsel and, as senior VP for legal and public affairs, was the staffing industry’s chief legal and legislative advocate. He has led the industry’s advocacy efforts before Congress and the Obama administration regarding the Affordable Care Act’s effects on staffing businesses. Before joining ASA, Lenz was VP and assistant general counsel for regulatory affairs of Kelly Services and served as chairman of the ASA legislative committee.
