Jeff Wald is a senior VP at WorkMarket, an ADP company. WorkMarket — an online platform and marketplace for businesses to manage freelancers, contractors and consultants — in a private deal, was acquired in January 2018 by ADP, the large provider of paycheck processing, PEO and other services. In 2017, WorkMarket acquired the OnForce freelancer management system from The Adecco Group and introduced a workers’ compensation insurance coverage offering for firms that use independent contractors. Wald has built and sold other technology companies, including SpinBack; he is the author of The Birthday Rules, a book on raising children; and is a former auxiliary officer in the New York Police Department.
