Robert A. Funk is CEO and chairman of Express Employment Professionals, the largest industrial staffing firm in the U.S. The company opened its 700th franchise location this year, and Express also ranked No. 71 on Entrepreneur magazine’s 2014 Franchise 500 list. Funk has also served on the boards of many business organizations and been inducted into the Halls of Fame for the International Franchise Association, Sales and Marketing Executives International and the National Association of Personnel Services. Express was launched in 1983. Funk served as the chairman of the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City and was also the chairman of the Conference of Chairmen of the Federal Reserve.
