Scott Aicher took on the reins as president of the TechServe Alliance, the association of IT and engineering staffing firms, starting Jan. 1. A 25-year industry veteran, Aicher also is chief operating officer of RGBSI, a Troy, Michigan-based staffing firm, and sister company, UpGlide, a provider of VMS software. Aicher says his work with TechServe stands as one of his accomplishments in 2019. Under Aicher’s leadership, UpGlide saw revenue triple in 2019 , while RGBSI’s staffing business continued to diversify to keep in line with Aicher’s belief that pivoting quickly helps grow the business. Over the last 4½ years, it has gone from focusing heavily on engineering services to including a number of different service.
