Sherri Hammons has brought a disruptive influence to the VMS industry since becoming chief technology officer of IQNavigator in 2013. Hammons led the creation of a platform for new products to replace the company’s existing, legacy solution. In 2016, IQNavigator’s data science program used machine learning to create a contingent workforce ontology around skills and attributes, rather than traditional job titles. IQNavigator also created geographic clusters around metropolitan areas to obtain more robust information about rates and time to fill. The company recently merged with Beeline to form an independent VMS provider with more than $40 billion of spend under management, customers in more than 100 countries and 500-plus employees. Hammons is CTO of the newly merged company.
