William J. Grubbs is president and CEO of Cross Country Healthcare Inc., the fourth-largest healthcare staffing firm in the U.S. The Boca Raton, Fla.-based company acquired Medical Staffing Network in June 2014 and On Assignment’s allied division in December 2013. Grubbs previously served as executive VP and COO of TrueBlue Inc. and has held various senior executive positions, including COO of SFN Group (formerly known as Spherion Corp.). Grubbs was part of the executive team that successfully sold SFN Group to Randstad in 2011.
