As president of Acoset, the national staffing association of Colombia, Miguel Pérez García in 2021 signed the Pact for Decent Work, through which temporary service companies and public entities will provide support on issues such as the Social Protection Floor, economic incentives for job creation and employment for young people. That same year, Acoset’s training programs achieved their highest participation, with 19,215 people in 70 sessions. He also secured the expansion of the PAEF Employment Support program subsidy to temporary service companies. García also serves as president of WEC-Latin America, the regional arm of the World Employment Conference.
