Shawn Poole remains an industry influencer even after his retirement from EmployBridge, where he was executive VP and CFO until January. He plans to remain an active advisor with the company, the largest industrial staffing firm in the US, while working to transition his CFO duties. Since co-founding EmployBridge 17 years ago, Poole was instrumental in growing the company into a nationally recognized firm that earned more than $3 billion in revenue and now has more than 95,000 associates working at some 10,000 companies. In 2017, EmployBridge partnered with online learning company Penn Foster to launch Better WorkLife Academy, a package of free career-oriented courses for its associates.
